WELCOME TO FLUMEN VITAE! As any other roleplaying site, we have a set of rules that must be followed.
GENERAL
1. Swear words are not completely prohibited but must be kept to a minimum out of respect for those who find them uncomfortable.
2. Bullying of any sort is not permitted.
3. In order to use an item from the Market, you must have purchased it first.
4. There must be one account per character, meaning you need to create a new account for each character you create. You may have one OOC account. Your main/first account can also be a character account. You can have three accounts before having to purchase more character slots on the Market.
5. Do not let IC drama affect OOC drama. Fighting is not permitted OOCly.
6. Follow the instructions of staff members. Be honest and always tell the truth.
7. You are allowed to "sell" art and writing, but NOT for real-world currency. You may trade art for items or coins, the site currency.
8. Posting templates are permitted as long as they're easy on the eyes (ex: no extremely crazy neon).
9. Your profile picture MUST be of your wolf. The GIF can be anything. This does not apply to strictly OOC accounts.
ROLEPLAY
1. High positions must be earned unless there are high position tryouts in a pack.
2. Certain physical and mental disorders must be purchased on the Market. Scars, broken bones, physical diseases, mild anxiety/depression, etc. can be played for free.
3. Do not create invincible characters. They are not perfect, and not everyone will think they are the best. They will take some hits in battle.
4. There is a fine line between OOC (out of character) and IC (in character). Your character should not ICly know OOC information, and IC drama should not fuel OOC drama.
5. Once a character is accepted, their name is technically reserved. Do not use the same name. For example, if there already exists a character named Thunder, you have to name your character something else.
6. This is a semi-realistic wolf roleplay. Characters may talk and express humanlike emotions and certain personality traits. They can have alignments (chaotic, neutral, good, evil, etc.). They may not have unrealistic appearances like bangs, chains, over the top unrealistic fur/eye colors (like purple fur and red eyes; more tame "unrealistic" colors are fine), wings, antlers, etc. They may not have powers or be angels or demons. Certain traits and accessories can be purchased on the Market.
7. For each roleplay post, you must have at least 100 words in-character. OOC notes do not count.
CONSEQUENCES
First + Second Offense: warnings; if the rule-breaking is minor, you will only get a verbal warning that will not be added to your offense list.
Third Offense: final warning.
Fourth Offense: a one-day ban.
Fifth Offense: a one-week ban.
Sixth Offense: a one-month ban.
Seventh Offense: a permanent ban; also applies to any other character accounts you have.
Eighth Offense: an I.P. ban that prohibits you from registering.
The first seven consequences also apply for rule-breaking in the roleplay, though your account will not be banned sitewide by the seventh offense - you will only be banned from the roleplaying boards.
